Don't Eat the Pictures: Sesame Street at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a one-hour Sesame Street special that aired on PBS on November 16, 1983. The title comes from a song in the special "Don't Eat the Pictures," sung by Cookie Monster. It was released on VHS in 1987. The special has the regular cast of Sesame Street getting locked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art overnight as they search for Big Bird, who has gotten lost looking for Snuffy. The cast must stay in the museum until the morning while avoiding a security guard. The special features the regular human cast of Sesame Street along with several of the Muppet characters, including Cookie Monster, Telly, Ernie and Bert, The Count, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch. Snuffy also appears, however at this point in the show's history he is still the 'imaginary' friend of Big Bird, never seen by the other characters.

The Good Life is an American situation comedy which was aired on NBC as part of its 1971-72 lineup. The series stars Larry Hagman and Donna Mills, and was produced by Lorimar, in association with Screen Gems.

Nothing in Common was a 1987 television series on NBC starred Todd Waring in the role of David Basner and Bill Macy in the role of Max Basner. Seven episodes were broadcast immediately after the highly-rated series Cheers but didn't pick enough audiences. The short-lived series was cancelled because of low turnout. The series was inspired by the 1986 film by Garry Marshall starring Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason also entitled Nothing in Common in which Hanks played David Basner and Gleason protrayed Max Basner. Todd Waring later reprised another Tom Hanks role in a TV sequel to Splash for The Wonderful World of Disney called Splash, Too.

Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope was a worldwide benefit held for the tsunami victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake. The benefit was led by the actor George Clooney on January 15, 2005, and was similar to America: A Tribute to Heroes. Digital Media innovator Jay Samit enabled viewers to purchase digital downloads of the performances as a new way to raise money for the cause; including live recordings by Elton John, Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Eric Clapton and Roger Waters. Taking a cue from Bob Geldof, it consisted of famous Hollywood entertainers and former American presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. It was two hours long with stories and entertainment from a huge array of Hollywood popstars notables that include Brad Pitt, Donald Trump, and much more. It was estimated to raise at least five million dollars by the end of the broadcast.

Macbeth is a 1978 videotaped version of Trevor Nunn's Royal Shakespeare Company production of the play by William Shakespeare. Produced by Thames Television, it features Ian McKellen as Macbeth, and Judi Dench as Lady Macbeth. The TV version was directed by Philip Casson. The original stage production was performed at The Other Place, the RSC's small studio theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. It had been performed in the round before small audiences, with a bare stage and simple costuming.
